Six years after "Bauer sucht Frau": Christian and Barbara Busl's dream wedding

Christian and Barbara Busl have been waiting for six years and now the time has finally come.

The two are getting married in church next Saturday.

The couple had already said yes in a civil registry office in 2019, but now they can finally celebrate.

Schwimmbach – Due to Corona, the church wedding of Christian and Barbara had to be postponed again and again.

But three years after the civil wedding, the two can finally step in front of the altar.

"It won't be an arrogant wedding": Barbara doesn't want a big wedding

Barbara and Christian met six years ago at Bauer sucht Frau, and things really sparked between the two.

They quickly became one of the show's most popular couples and also one of the few who managed to keep their love going for several years.

Despite the success of the RTL show, the two have stayed down to earth.

Barbara emphasizes "We don't think we're something better" and that's why the wedding shouldn't be too pompous.

Nevertheless, the couple expects some onlookers to gather at the wedding.

"Under strict rules": A camera team may also be present at the church wedding

Even the civil wedding of Barbara and Christian was accompanied by the camera, but this led to some tensions between the newlyweds during the ceremony

That's why it was clear to Barbara that if cameras were to be there again, then only under strict conditions.

The two want to make sure their church wedding goes as planned.

But not all couples who met through Bauer sucht Frau are as perfect as Barbara and Christian.

Peter and Kerstin recently separated, but Kerstin seems to have a new partner by her side again.
