Tomorrow, the Ministry of Health will launch the second intensive national campaign for vaccination against the Corona virus under the slogan “A new opportunity to be safe” and it will continue until the 30th of this June.
The campaign targets all citizens over the age of 18 in all governorates by going directly to approved centers in hospitals, health centers and mobile teams equipped with an official mission.
In a previous statement to SANA, Director of Primary Health Care Razan Al-Tarabishi said that the ministry had completed all technical and logistical preparations to launch the campaign to reach all citizens who did not receive the vaccine, indicating that about 7,400 health workers are participating in the campaign through 37 hospitals, 986 health centers and 386 mobile teams. .
Al-Tarabishi stressed that the vaccine is the only solution to maintain the stability of the epidemiological situation and eliminate the pandemic, indicating that it is safe, effective and free, and is allowed, according to the recent recommendations of the World Health Organization, to be given to a pregnant or breastfeeding woman, while contraindications to administration are limited to allergy to a previous vaccine dose or current infection with the virus.
