Toten Hosen concert in Munich: trouble about false free tickets

The Toten Hosen are coming to Munich.
But before their appearance in the Olympic Stadium, some fans were very upset: they were initially happy about free tickets.
Munich - The anticipation of the concert is great: On Saturday, the Toten Hosen will be performing in Munich's Olympic Stadium - and Munich's Michael F. also wants to be there.
So on Thursday he tried to buy tickets through Munich Ticket – and discovered free tickets for the grandstand.
"I thought it was a marketing move to fill up the stadium," he says.
The 36-year-old ordered twice and paid a booking fee of EUR 2.90 each.
He received an order confirmation and an invoice.
Tote Hosen in Munich: Printing out the free tickets doesn't work
But when he wanted to pick up the tickets at a gas station on Friday morning, disillusionment followed: "There they could only print out the payment receipts, but not the tickets," he says.
Nobody was available at Munich Ticket, so he was asked to come back later.
But again the printout of the zero-euro tickets didn't work, and the gas station finally got the information that they weren't authorized to do so.
Michael F. then wanted to contact the hotline himself – initially without success.
"With another number, I was thrown out of the queue several times before I reached a customer service employee," says F. angrily.
The result: the free tickets are invalid.

Toten Hosen in Munich: Free tickets were a technical error
As Munich Ticket confirms, there was a technical error on Thursday, which is why tickets for the Tote-Hosen concert were offered for zero or 3.18 euros.
Around 250 tickets were sold.
"All customers have been informed by email that the tickets will be cancelled," says an employee.
“The tickets will no longer be issued.” Those who already have their free tickets cannot enter the stadium with them.
"Customers can buy tickets at the box office at the regular price," explains the employee.
Michael F. has now also received an information email.
Because he still wants to go to the Tote-Hosen concert, he bought new tickets for it - but he's still upset about the ticket chaos.
"It was a legally binding contract," he says, and asks: "On what legal basis is it declared invalid?"
