A van caught fire.
To prevent fuel from getting into the sewage system, the emergency services attached a sealing cushion - it exploded.
Bessenbach – Three people were slightly injured in a van fire on the A3, and around 100 square meters of embankment burned.

This was announced by the fire brigade on Saturday (June 18).
When the emergency services arrived, the fire had spread to about 100 square meters of the embankment.
In addition, burning fuel flowed from the vehicle into the sewage system during the night from Friday to Saturday.

In order to prevent further fuel from entering the sewage system, the emergency services installed a sealing cushion.
It exploded due to the extreme heat, injuring two firefighters aged 27 and 31.
They were treated on site together with the 37-year-old van driver.
After being extinguished, the machine parts transported in wooden boxes were moved using a crane so that the remaining embers could be extinguished.
The cause of the fire is probably a technical defect.
According to the police, the property damage amounted to 50,000 euros.
