Two men experienced an elevator nightmare in Munich: they got stuck in the heat.
And it was not an easy task for the fire brigade either.
Munich – Getting stuck in the elevator is one of the personal nightmare thoughts for many people.
In Freiham in the west of Munich, two men have now seen him: They didn't get out of an elevator for hours.
And that in extremely uncomfortable heat.
The fire brigade reported the incident under the heading "No chance of freedom".
Munich: Two men stuck in the elevator for hours
The message "Open elevator" is therefore part of the daily routine work of the Munich fire brigade.
This time, the emergency services were challenged a little more, as the elevator could not be moved using the usual methods and the occupants could not be freed in the conventional way.
Two men had been in the glass elevator, on which the sun was beating down, for more than two hours on Tuesday afternoon (June 14) when the fire brigade arrived.
Their standard tricks like moving the elevator didn't help.
Therefore, after considering the options, the operations manager decided to gain access via the roof of the cabin.
Munich: Fire brigade has to use unusual means
First, the emergency services cut open the roof paneling with a saber saw and bent the sheet metal parts wide apart.
They were able to let a scaling ladder into the cabin, which the two men could use to climb up.
According to the fire brigade, the two men were uninjured, but visibly exhausted and were first pampered with drinks.
A technician should investigate the cause of the fault.
The Munich police reported a bad incident: A Ukrainian was attacked in the English Garden.
