A mother and her baby had to be rescued by the fire brigade in Nuremberg on Saturday afternoon.
The two-year-old daughter had locked her out on the balcony.
Nuremberg – The Nuremberg fire brigade had to move out on Saturday morning (June 18) for a very special operation.
A woman and her baby had to be rescued from the balcony of an apartment building.
But how did this incident come about?
The woman's two-year-old daughter had locked the balcony door from the inside while her mother and sibling were still outside, locking them out on the balcony.

After the woman could no longer get into the apartment on her own and could not get her daughter to open the door, she began to call for help from the balcony.
Alarmed by the calls for help, the Nuremberg police moved in first.
However, she was also unable to gain access to the apartment and called the fire brigade for help.

The fire brigade officers arrived with a turntable ladder and were able to gain access to the apartment through a tilted window.
In this way, a fireman was able to open the balcony door from the inside and let the mother and baby back into the apartment.

A spokesman for the fire brigade in Nuremberg explained that the mother and children survived the operation unscathed and took it easy.
While the mother breastfed her baby on the balcony, the two-year-old played carefree in the apartment.
The girl "wasn't surprised by the fireman's visit either," the spokesman said.
