Coral Barda Rahmani from Rishon Lezion, a mother of a two-and-a-half-year-old boy who almost drowned yesterday, shared her experiences in a post on social media to warn other parents of the danger of drowning in the summer months.
The mother said that in a moment of inattention, her toddler son jumped into the pool and was rescued thanks to his father’s alertness.
"At first I thought my child was dead, not wishing any parent that feeling."
"I have thought several times about whether to share this video," the mother wrote in a Facebook post, saying she did not want to be criticized.
However, Rahmani finally said that her decision to share her story for the benefit of the public is "the bathing season is upon us and if this video will make even one parent open his eyes more, then I did mine."

Rahmani said they held a pool party for their big house, and also let their little son, two-and-a-half-year-old Rom, go in for a swim with buoys.
"Living in a house with a pool and small children is a constant anxiety," she shared. with them".
The mother said that during the party her toddler son wanted to get out of the water and asked his mother to lower the buoys, however she rejected his request and told the child that she would be evacuated soon.
"One of the staff members who was at our house heard this and realized that I was just busy and therefore not lowering the buoys," Rahmani said.
The mother added that she does not blame the staff member, nor does she take responsibility for herself.

"For three seconds he was underwater, until my husband Liran realized he was in the water and jumped to save him," said the mother.
"I do not wish any parent this feeling," she recounted, adding that she was with her back to the pool at the time of the incident, not knowing how long her son was underwater, "I thought my child was dead."
The mother finished and shared that her son was not injured, and was in the water for about three seconds, adding a warning to all parents, "Open your eyes well - at sea, in the pool, in a hotel, in a B&B - just do not lower floats under any circumstances as long as you are around the pool."
