"Simply delusional": Israel is not on the list of the airline - Palestine Yes | Israel today

Not for the first time:

Israeli passengers who returned from France last weekend visited the website of Transavia, a subsidiary of Air France, in order to check in before the flight from Paris to Israel.

While trying to check in online, they discovered that Israel was not on the list.

When they continued to search for Israel in the list of countries, they found Palestine there.

In a conversation with Chai Logsi and Eyal Fishov, two of the passengers, they tell about the case: "We tried to find Israel and check in in advance, but we did not find. We did not really understand why, and after trying several times why Israel is not on the list - we actually found Palestine It's just delusional.

"In the end we did not check in, because none of us came from Palestine, was not born in this place and do not remember that there is such a country. Because we did not check in we could not sit in the places we were supposed to sit, and moved us to other seats, "It is less terrible for us. What is terrible is that all the countries of the world were on this list, including Iran and Iraq, but Israel is not," the two conclude in a conversation with "Israel Today."

To date, no response has been received from Air France or Transavia in Israel.

As mentioned, this is not the first time that the French airline has shown some hostility towards Israeli passengers.

Last week we published in "Israel Today" about another strange conduct of the "Transavia" company, when quite a few passengers who wanted to board a flight to Israel received a message, right at the time of boarding the plane, that the State of Israel does not allow them to fly to Israel.

The confused passengers tried to get plane tickets for other flights, and some even stayed a few days in Paris.

All this happened while the Israeli embassy in France, the Foreign Ministry and the Population Authority did not recognize such a restriction.

In recent days some of the passengers have received a request from the representatives of the airline, who have admitted that this is a computer malfunction and they apologize for the inconvenience.
