36-year-old man still on the run after homicide

The manhunt is in full swing after a violent crime in a small community in North Rhine-Westphalia.
During a routine check, the police accidentally came across the suspect.
It may be an act of jealousy.
Bielefeld/Kalletal - After a homicide in Kalletal near Bielefeld, a suspected 36-year-old is still on the run.
The search for the man continues at full speed, but has so far been unsuccessful, a police spokesman reported on Sunday.
The investigators have not yet commented on who the 36-year-old is said to have killed on Saturday.
Several media reported an act of violence out of jealousy: the man is said to have killed a rival, his wife's lover.
The Detmold public prosecutor's office and a homicide commission have been looking for the man since Saturday morning.
"The whereabouts of the wanted person is currently unknown," it said.
He may be staying in Kalletal in the Lippe district or in the neighboring town of Rinteln in Lower Saxony.
There, on Saturday, a large contingent - including helicopters and a SEK team - was looking for the 36-year-old.
For tactical reasons, one could not comment more precisely, said a police spokesman on Saturday evening.
The act of violence came to light by chance during a general traffic check.
The man was in the car with a woman and two children and should be checked routinely, the spokesman said.
Instead, the man fled, leaving his wife and children behind.
The woman stated that a homicide had occurred in the vicinity of her family.
The spokesman did not give any more details.
Extensive investigations by a homicide commission had revealed the urgent suspicion.
The scene of the crime should be the small Kalletal Stemmen.
The investigators called the man's full name for the search and published a photo of him.
They warned citizens not to approach the man.
The suspect has a distinctive scorpion tattoo on his right arm and a sword emblem on the inside of one forearm.
There was no information about his nationality.
Acquaintances of the suspect or people who can provide information about his whereabouts should contact the police immediately, it said.
The public prosecutor's office promised further information on the case on Monday.
