Security forces identified a suspect who vandalized the security fence in the seam area, near Qalqilya, in an attempt to cross into Israeli territory.
The IDF said that the fighters opened fire and an injury was identified. The circumstances of the case are clear.
Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that a Palestinian worker was killed by IDF fire near the security fence south of Qalqilya.
Earlier, two Palestinian workers were injured, one of them by IDF gunfire near the Tarkumiya crossing west of Hebron. Palestinian media reported that the IDF fired at a group of workers during their attempt to enter Israel to reach their workplace.
One of the workers, 26, was wounded in the leg by gunfire, and the other was injured.
