2022-06-19T12:47:02.312Z

The Minister of Justice sent a message to the MK that he does not intend to join an alternative government under Netanyahu • Bennett during the cabinet meeting: "The political situation is not easy, it is a battle of determination"

In light of MK Nir Orbach's desire (right) to form an alternative government in the current Knesset, Justice Minister Gideon Saar sent him a message that he does not intend to join the government with MK Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likud in the current Knesset, and that if he promotes the dissolution of the Knesset, it means Walking to the polls.

In addition, Orbach met today with the chairman of Torah Judaism, MK Moshe Gafni, who is interested in preventing further elections and who prefers the establishment of an alternative government in the current Knesset.

As you may recall, in light of the precarious situation in the current coalition, the Likud is considering raising the bill to dissolve the Knesset as early as this week - but will not do so without a clear knowledge that Auerbach will support the proposal.

It should be noted that in order to pass the dissolution of the Knesset in a preliminary reading, it is not necessary for Orbach to vote in favor.

It is enough for the Knesset member to be absent from the vote because there is no obligation to formulate 61 fingers in this reading.

In previous interviews that the Minister of Justice has had with the media, he has said that he does not intend to "return" the opposition chairman to the prime minister's office.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett referred to the political instability, and said during the cabinet meeting that "the political situation is not easy, it is a battle of determination. On the other side it is very difficult for them. If we are more determined - we will succeed."
