At least two people were killed and five others were injured in a shooting at a family barbecue late Saturday, police in San Antonio, Texas said.
"The family was having a barbecue in front of the house," San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus said at a news conference early Sunday.

McManus specified that a vehicle passed by and "unloaded between 20 and 30 shots on them."

Two men were killed and two women were among the five wounded, he added.
The victims were between 20 and 40 years old.
"There were six children inside the house who were not injured," McManus added, "they were not on the front lines."

The agent said he is aware of "deadly conduct" at the house in the southwest of the city in May but other than that, he had no further information about the house.
McManus gave no description of the possible suspect or suspects and could not confirm whether the shooting was targeted, though he said investigators "have a couple of theories."
