A forest fire in Comprégnac (Aveyron) covered 430 hectares, much of which was destroyed, without causing any casualties, firefighters who managed to stop its progress said on Sunday.
The fire broke out on Friday in this town, about fifteen kilometers from Millau.

Since Friday, dozens of people have been evacuated as a precaution.
