Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi reiterated that the foreign presence in the region increases its crises and the state of insecurity and stability in it.
"We believe that the region's issues can be resolved through its officials, and that the foreign presence in various regions increases their crises," Raisi said during a joint press conference with his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Tehran this morning.
Regarding relations with Kazakhstan, Raisi indicated that trade relations between the two countries have increased by more than 50 percent over the past few months, and the volume of trade exchange between them should approach three billion dollars.
For his part, Tokayev stressed that the relations of Iran and Kazakhstan are historical and that they agree in viewpoints and wish to benefit from all the possibilities available to them.
