Essential documents, code of conduct within the polling station, time constraints... Le Parisien has listed the things you need to know before going to vote for this second round.
Some little-known information will surprise even the most seasoned voters.
Do you vote in one of the following constituencies?
No need to move!
Do you live in the 3rd district of Mayenne, the 7th district of Seine-Saint-Denis, or the 6th, 16 and 17th districts of Paris?
No need to go to the polls on Sunday, you will find the door closed: a candidate has been elected or re-elected in the first round and you therefore do not need to vote a second time. .

You have prepared your identity card or your passport before leaving but on closer inspection... Panic, the document is out of date.
Well it doesn't matter!
The national identity card or the passport can be presented valid or expired, provided that they have been so for less than 5 years.

If you do not have a valid passport or identity card, other documents may replace it.
Attention, this time these must be valid.
Are accepted:
Driving license
Vitale card with photograph
the disability card with photograph or the mobility inclusion card with photograph
State official's identity card with photograph
parliamentarian's identity card with photograph
local elected official's identity card with photograph
the fighter's card with photograph
the identity card with photograph or the circulation card with photograph, issued by the military authorities
the receipt serving as proof of identity, issued in exchange for identity documents in the event of a judicial review
Last document, even more unexpected: the hunting license - valid, always, and with photograph - is authorized.
Please note that the hunting license issued by the National Biodiversity Office is not valid.
Electoral card not essential
If the identity document among the list mentioned above is imperative, it is not so for the voter card.
“The electoral card is not an identity document.
It is not compulsory to vote, ”explains the Ministry of the Interior on its site.
6 p.m. or 8 p.m. at the polling station, it's okay!
You arrive on the wire at the polling station, at closing time?
If you cross the threshold of the polling station at 6 or 8 p.m. sharp, depending on the closing time of your office, it is impossible to refuse you access to the polls.
