These new deputies, she underlined, will defend “
(your) ideas on immigration, security, unemployment, fiscal and social justice, forgotten territories, mistreated citizens or flouted democracy
”.
And to affirm: the RN deputies would also be “
the vanguard of this new political elite which will take responsibility for the country when the Macron adventure ends
”.
The far-right party, which had already gained 5.5 points in the first round of the legislative elections, winning 18.7% of the vote (13.2% in 2017), seems set to overtake the right-wing party Les Republicans (credited with 62 to 68 elected), while the outgoing presidential coalition Together!
(between 230 and 240 elected) lost the absolute majority to the left alliance Nupes (between 165 and 175 elected).
The Grand Slam in the Eastern Pyrenees
In Gironde, land of conquest for the RN, the president of the RN group in New Aquitaine Edwige Diaz was elected with 58.7% of the vote.
Thomas Ménagé is elected in the 4th constituency of Loiret, where the former Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer had been eliminated.
In Charente, the RN obtains an elected Caroline Colombier.

The RN also wins deputies in Moselle, where Alexandre Loubet, director of communication of the RN, and Kevin Pfeffer, treasurer of the party, are notably elected, as well as in the Var, where Philippe Lottiaux wins the 4th constituency in which Eric Zemmour had been eliminated in the first round.
In Occitania, an area of strength for the RN, the party is faultless in the Pyrénées-Orientales where its four candidates, members of the municipal team of the mayor RN of Perpignan Louis Aliot, were elected deputies against three candidates Together!
and a Nupes candidate.
In Hauts-de-France, the RN obtains several deputies in Pas-de-Calais, including the outgoing Bruno Bilde.
Sébastien Chenu, spokesman for the RN, in the North is also re-elected.
