Fewer Parisians at the polls compared to the first round.
According to figures provided by the Ministry of the Interior, the participation rate at noon in Paris is 10.81%.
This is less than in the first round last week when at the same time, 12.26% of voters had gone to the polling stations in the capital.
In 2017 at the same time, the participation rate in Paris was 10.37%.
Elsewhere in Île-de-France, the participation rate is even lower in Seine-Saint-Denis (8.88%), in Val-d'Oise (10.1%).
In Val-de-Marne it reaches 10.9%, in Hauts-de-Seine 12% and 12.65% in Essonne.
Yvelines voters mobilized more (14.96%).
Closing of the offices at 8 p.m.
More than 48 million French people are called upon to vote.
This Sunday, polling stations will close at 6 p.m., and at 8 p.m. in Paris and in major cities.
The first estimates are expected at 8 p.m.
Knowing that more than half of the French people registered on the electoral lists shunned the polls last Sunday - which is more than during the previous legislative elections - the turnout rate is a crucial issue.
