Rodion Miroshnik, the ambassador of the Lugansk People's Republic in Moscow, announced that the Ukrainian militants besieged at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk were sending signals about their readiness to negotiate.
Russia Today website quoted Miroshnik as saying today on the Telegram that contact and negotiation with the besieged Ukrainian militants continues, but it is clear that the conditions for their surrender will not be better than before, and they are still trying to seize opportunities and disrupt the ceasefire agreements.
The ambassador stressed that the military conditions for these besieged militants continue to deteriorate for the worse.
It is noteworthy that the battles for control of Severodonetsk have been going on since the beginning of last May. The Russian forces and Luhansk units liberated most of the city’s residential neighborhoods, and the Ukrainian national battalions were besieged inside the territory of the Azot chemical plant in the city.
