After the attack by the IAF, Hamas today (Sunday) completed the construction of an observation post located in the northern Gaza Strip in front of the settlement of Netiv HaAsara.
The post was bombed during an IDF attack on Saturday morning in response to rocket fire fired by terrorist organizations in Gaza at Israel. Following the attack, the post was destroyed and damaged, but it was not destroyed and remained intact.
A few hours after the end of the attacks, Hamas began rehabilitating the position to return to activity.
The work was completed today, and the documentation that was distributed shows Hamas members engaged in the renovation work, standing up the stairs leading to the observation point in the tower located on a sand dune, from which one can observe the settlements in the south near the Gaza Strip border.
Palestinian flags were hung on the post, as well as a picture showing the three Palestinian gunmen who were killed in an encounter with a force from the Golani patrol in Jenin on Tuesday.
Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said last night that "the speed with which the organization's military arm rebuilt the position that Israel bombed is a picture of strength and power, and delivered with a clear challenge to occupation, it confirms the readiness of the resistance to build and develop its capabilities despite all difficulties and challenges."
