INTERVIEW - The lack of attention given by many media to recent assaults on the elderly indicates that the rise in violence is not perceived as a political issue, argues the philosopher.

- On June 8, a septuagenarian was found with her throat slit in her residence for the elderly, in Mulhouse.

And every week, the list of assaults on the elderly grows longer.

However, we note a relative indifference of the media towards this category of crimes, with the exception of the regional press, and little emotion in public opinion.
