Ben Gvir storm and the Temple Mount do not subside • The Knesset member explained that he ascends the mountain according to the ruling of his rabbi, who in turn doubted the motive of Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef

Storm of the Chief Rabbi and MK Ben Gvir:

Yesterday (Saturday) Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef attacked the Knesset member against the background of his ascent to the Temple Mount, contrary to his position and the position of the Chief Rabbis. Ben Gvir explained that he respects the Chief Rabbi, and that he follows his rabbi Rabbi Dov Lior, a well-known and respected rabbi among religious Zionism.

Now, Rabbi Lior first refers to the storm in a conversation with "Israel Today": "There is reason to fear that the reason for the chief rabbi's remarks is political and not halakhic.

"My position regarding the Temple Mount is well-known, it is no secret. I say that there are places where it is forbidden to be and there are places that are allowed, and it is important that the people of Israel go up."

The rabbi concluded: "There is reason to fear that things are coming for a political reason. I can not be one hundred percent sure, but there is reason to fear."
