The two passengers were arrested, but a policeman was beaten up before the second passenger was arrested, a police source told

The chase starts Sunday at 2 a.m., near the Porte de Saint-Ouen, on the border between the 17th and 18th arrondissements of Paris.
A BAC patrol wants to check a vehicle that has just committed a traffic violation.
The driver refuses to submit to the control, starts the car at high speed to escape the police, but ends her trajectory in a block.
Luckily, she was not injured, then was quickly arrested.

At the same time, the passenger has time to flee on foot.
The officials go looking for him and one of them finds his trace near the Saint-Ouen metro station.
As he tries to arrest the defendant, the policeman is taken to task by a group of individuals who throw themselves on him, dealing him several violent blows.

, they also attacked him with his telescopic baton which they had stolen a few moments earlier.
His teammates arrive on the spot and finally interrupt the attack, by challenging the passenger of the vehicle.
According to our information, the other attackers all fled when reinforcements arrived.
Initially transported to the hospital for a minor injury, the individual has since been taken into custody.
The policeman was also taken to hospital, but his life is not in danger.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the police station of the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
