The first tent has already been set up: the social protest returns to Rothschild
In protest of rising housing prices, protesters came to Tel Aviv's main boulevard and set up tents - similar to the social protest that began there in 2011. "We want to bring about real change, not just in Tel Aviv," said Yotam Harpaz, the first to set up a tent there.

The first protesters to protest housing prices arrived today (Sunday) on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv.
They started setting up tents there, similar to the social protest in 2011, which was also called the "tent protest" and started in the same place in the city.
The organizers of the demonstration expect that dozens of more demonstrators will arrive in the coming hours.
"We want to bring about real change, not just in Tel Aviv," said Yotam Harpaz, 23, who set up the first tent on the boulevard.
"I came in protest of the psychic price increases, I live with partners in Neve Sha'anan," he said.
"I chose a central location near all the roads, hope to connect here to the plumbing but everything is pretty solar," he shared his plans.
"I'm here alone but the company I have behind is economists with a list of demands. This is not my check, this is a check from all of us."

Ido Ben-Nun, Yotam's partner for the past year, also came to set up a tent in Rothschild.
"We will be here for as long as we need. The idea is to bring the issue of renting back on the agenda, this time with the aim of changing the situation. We talk to people from all over the country, we join the tents in Pardes Hanna.

"The problem is not only ours, but in Tel Aviv it is the most serious," Ben-Nun continued.
"A politician who will not talk about housing in the next election will be irrelevant. Rental prices are unreasonable, need several solutions at the same time: amend the brokerage law, increase supply. Sleepy people. Know that the situation is wrong and do nothing. Buy an apartment for a young person in this country dream".
