The fact that the forest festival friends have a lot of catching up to do was shown on Sunday at the Lori-Feichta fairground: thousands flocked to the forest festival of the Tegernsee mountain riflemen.
Rottach-Egern
– There was no holding back at the forest festival of the Tegernsee mountain riflemen in Lori-Feichta: mountain riflemen from near and far, but also numerous visitors from the region, arrived on the site on Sunday morning (June 19) to enjoy the radiantly beautiful Weather and sweaty temperatures first to celebrate a Holy Mass.
Schützenkurator Pater Martin Mayr traveled all the way from Essen an der Ruhr to celebrate the service.
"I missed this thank you to the Lord so much in this beautiful natural cathedral," admitted the priest in view of the long Corona break.
The fairground was fully occupied down to the last corner of the shadows
Florian Baier, as captain of the company, had previously needed a full 20 minutes just to greet the most important guests of honor by name.
At this point, the fairground in Rottach-Egern was already fully occupied down to the last corner of the shadows.
Not counting the faithful who did not shy away from the long queues to receive Holy Communion.

Rib of ox, grilled meat and 150 different cakes
After the Bavarian anthem, the go-ahead for the social get-together was given, to which many holidaymakers and day-trippers flocked.
They all enjoyed the performances of the music band of the Tegernsee company, the Tegernsee alphorn players, the Rottacher Goasslschnalzer and the young Wallbergers.
The culinary offer was particularly large this year: There were ox ribs from the grill, snacks, grilled meat and fish on a stick prepared by the volunteers.
In addition, 150 different cakes were served up by the friends' association, headed by Monica von Sigritz.
