A 29-year-old behaved like a madman after a relationship dispute in Neufahrn.

He even ended up attacking the police.

Neufahrn

– First he hit – among other things with a beer bottle – a friend of his ex-girlfriend.

He then barricaded himself in front of the police in his apartment.

He later escaped from the Taufkirchen district hospital.

He was finally caught in a potato field. He attacked a police patrol so violently that support forces had to be called.

But from the beginning:

On Friday around 3.50 p.m. there was a violent confrontation on Grünecker Straße in Neufahrn.

According to the police, this was preceded by a relationship dispute between a 29-year-old Pole and his 33-year-old ex-girlfriend.

At the time, the 33-year-old wanted to get objects from her apartment, as police chief Gerd Hauptmann describes.

She was accompanied by an acquaintance (57).

The perpetrator struck with the beer bottle

According to the police, an initially verbal argument developed between the two men, which ended in the 29-year-old "several times hitting the 57-year-old on the head with a beer bottle and kicking him," as Hartmann reports.

"The victim was able to escape from the apartment, but was followed by the accused, who continued to hit and kick him."

The punches and kicks continued until the emergency services arrived.

The victim of the wild attacks was pulled into the vehicle by the crew of the ambulance and the vehicle door was locked because the 29-year-old tried to get into the vehicle.

When it was announced that the police had been alerted, he went back to his apartment and barricaded himself there, according to the police.

Hartmann: "Through the use of several patrol crews, he could finally be caught and tied up in his apartment."

Eventually, the man ended up in the district hospital

Since he was also slightly injured in the course of the argument, he was handed over to the emergency services for first aid.

He launched the worst threats: he would kill both his ex-girlfriend and himself.

As a result, his placement in the Isar-Amper-Klinikum Taufkirchen was ordered.

But the man didn't stay there long.

After being housed, he managed to escape from there.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The very next day, on Saturday at around 8.20 a.m., the man was discovered lying on a park bench in Neufahrn.

After announcing he would be taken back to Taufkirchen, the 29-year-old announced he was going to leave for Poland and ran off.

Police chief inspector Gerd Hauptmann describes: "The two officers from the Neufahrn police station immediately took up the pursuit and were able to stop the fugitive in a potato field.

When trying to fix and tie him up, the 29-year-old put up considerable resistance.

He snatched the radio and handcuffs from an officer and tried to hit her with them.

He also stepped after the two officers.”

The officers deployed were injured

With the help of the support forces from the Freising Traffic Police Inspectorate, who had arrived in the meantime, the wild man was tied up and taken to Neufahrn for inspection.

First of all, it was agreed with the Landshut public prosecutor's office that the accused would be brought before an investigating judge to issue a pre-trial arrest warrant.

However, this decision was reversed and the man was released, the report says.

The officers deployed at the Neufahrn police station were slightly injured by the 29-year-old, but were able to continue their service.

Now the bill follows: The 29-year-old will have to answer for dangerous bodily harm and physical assault on law enforcement officers as well as resistance to law enforcement officers.
