The Danish Public Prosecution announced today the arrest of three people for their association with the terrorist organization “ISIS”.
The Associated Press reported that two men and a woman in their thirties were arrested recently without being identified in line with Danish laws.
The three people were charged with planning terrorist acts by possessing weapons and bomb-making materials to be used in a terrorist attack in an unknown location in Denmark or abroad, in addition to being accused of financing terrorist activities by transferring funds to a person affiliated with the terrorist organization "ISIS".
"We believe that the plans to carry out the attacks failed because the police arrested the suspects," Copenhagen Prosecutor Liz Lotte Nilas said in a statement.
