Age: two "2000" in the Assembly, a broken record
With less than 5% of the votes cast, neither the dean nor the youngest of the candidates will have passed the first round.

2017 was the record year, with 224 women elected, or 38.8% of the 577 deputies.
Among the major parties, it is in the RN where the difference in points between the proportion of women candidates and the proportion of women elected compared to men is the largest.

The law of June 6, 2000, reinforced over the years, obliges political parties to present an equal number of women and men for the legislative elections.
However, this does not affect the constituencies chosen for the candidates of each party, which may be more or less favorable to them.
This may explain, among other sociological factors, the discrepancy between the number of female candidates presented and the number of female candidates elected.
Profession: executives overrepresented in the Assembly
Already among the most present candidates, executives – who represent 21.6% of French people – are the socio-professional category most represented in the Assembly (27%).
Then come the liberal professions (13%), closely followed by retirees (11%).
Conversely, workers and students are under-represented in relation to the initial number of candidates.
Of the 168 workers who presented themselves, four will sit in the Assembly (two Nupes, two RN), while of the 208 student-student candidates, only two were elected;
the youngest to the historic record.
Another MP whose profession is atypical in the Assembly: Franco-Ivorian Rachel Keke, who beat Emmanuel Macron's former Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu, in the 7th constituency of Val-de-Marne.
