The Presidency of the Council of Ministers agreed on the recommendation of the Economic Committee to assign all branches of the Syrian Grain Corporation in the governorates to hand over the farmer’s associations to burlap sacks for those who wish on a guarantee from the Farmers’ Union in the governorate, provided that the price of the sacks is collected from the first purchase list received by them.
The approval came in response to the proposal of the General Union of Peasants to hand over agricultural associations wishing to borrow burlap sacks as a debt to market grains to the Syrian Grain Corporation or the General Organization for Seed Multiplication under the sponsorship of the branch unions in the governorates.
