Confused bomb threat at school in Bavaria: children evacuated – perpetrators arrested

A primary and middle school in Ebersdorf near Coburg had to be evacuated because of a man's confused bomb threat.
Nothing was found.
Ebersdorf near Coburg – On Monday afternoon, the police in Ebersdorf near Coburg, in northern Bavaria, had to investigate a frightening suspicion: there were bombs in an elementary and middle school.
For security reasons, the students were evacuated and officers searched the building with sniffer dogs.
They found nothing.
Bavaria: Bomb threat to school – statements by the perpetrator “confused”
It all began with an uncomfortable encounter between two students at a primary and secondary school in Ebersdorf near Coburg.
A 35-year-old man from the Netherlands addressed the children who were outside the school building in English.
According to the police report, "the man made confused statements that could suggest that a bomb might be on the school grounds."
The headmaster then became aware of the conversation between the two students and the stranger and alerted the police.
The officers then arrested the man without resistance in front of the school building.

School in Bavaria evacuated due to bomb threat
For security reasons, the police evacuated the 360 students.
In addition, the area was cordoned off extensively.
Afterwards, "explosive dogs and police forces searched the premises for suspicious objects," according to the corresponding police report.
Around 2:15 p.m., the relieving news: Nothing had been found, the area could be released again.
The 35-year-old perpetrator is now in a district hospital.
