Starnberg/Pöcking - Two bicycle accidents occur on Saturday at Lake Starnberg.
A 68-year-old pedelec driver is hospitalized with serious injuries.
When the weather was nice for a trip, there were two bicycle accidents in the area of responsibility of the Starnberg police on Saturday afternoon.
The first accident happened around 2:15 p.m. on a dirt road near the lake shore in Pöcking.
A 61-year-old woman braked too hard and then crashed her bike.
According to the police, the tourist was taken to the Starnberg Clinic with minor injuries.
Helmet protects pedelec riders from serious head injuries in Percha
In the second traffic accident, the cyclist (68) was taken to a Munich clinic with serious injuries.
In the curve area of Berger Straße in the Starnberg district of Percha, the vacationer came off the road with his pedelec and fell to the ground.
A worn bicycle helmet saved him from serious head injuries.
There was minor damage to both bikes.
