Damascus-SANA
Various techniques aimed at supporting the child's talents and developing his creativity were included in the workshop held by the Directorate of Culture in Damascus in cooperation with Shama magazine.
The workshop aims to create a model for a cultural environment incubating the child, developing his communication skills, persuasion and creativity, and motivating him to read.
Writer Areej Bawadakji told SANA Culture: “The workshop began with an overview of Shama magazine, a brainstorming session on the most important knowledge that the children received from the magazine, and then the storyteller’s paragraph in partnership with volunteer writers Alaa Abu Zarar and Tharaa Al-Roumi.
The workshop also included, according to Budaqji, a literary artistic exercise to motivate children to exercise their visual artistic taste, and then create a literary text based on the inspiring painting.
It is noteworthy that Shama magazine is a magazine issued by the Syrian General Book Authority and directed at early childhood.
