The political battle in the National Assembly will be immediate.
No respite for the majority, largely weakened since the results of the second round of the legislative elections.
With its status as the first force on the left in the National Assembly, rebellious France could quickly seek to set the tempo of the opposition to Emmanuel Macron in the hemicycle.

The Insoumis have marked a date on their calendar.
On July 5, they are threatening to table a motion of censure against the government of Elisabeth Borne.
The wick was lit on Sunday evening by deputy Éric Coquerel.
This date owes nothing to chance: it is on this day that Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne is to deliver her general policy speech.
If this date is retained, the discussions could begin at the Assembly.
The debate and the vote cannot last more than three days.
A majority very difficult to conceive
The LFI deputies would thus like to mark their opposition to the policy of the government in place.
The motion of censure, if adopted, allows the legislative power to force the resignation of the government.
Still it is necessary that it be voted by the majority of the deputies, that is to say by at least 289 elected officials.
The Insoumis will therefore only be able to succeed if they manage to convince all the opposition to join them.
At this stage, however, the activation of the motion of censure does not yet seem to have taken place.
“Whenever it will be necessary, that politically we will need it and that the program will require it, obviously we are in a position to do it, commented the deputy Adrien Quatennens on LCI this Monday morning.
All of this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

🔴🗣️ @EliMartichoux: "Is your goal at #NUPES to quickly table a motion of censure against the government?".
@AQuatennens: "We are indeed in a position to do so [but] given the results" at #Législatives2022, "Élisabeth #Borne must go".

What is certain is that the Insoumis will not launch without its leftist allies.
“It will be up to Nupes to decide, confirms with Parisian Éric Coquerel.
If the government puts confidence to a vote, there will be no need for a motion of censure,” he continued.
The government has full latitude to decide whether or not to vote for confidence in the government at the end of the general policy speech.
The challenge of alliances could be taken up quite easily with the majority of Nupes partners.
We can also imagine that the imposing RN group, made up of 90 elected officials, could be tempted to vote for the resignation of the government.
The idea, in any case, does not seem closed.
"We are going to have a meeting, I don't know," commented Var MP Laure Lavalette on the subject to France info.
It is on the side of LR that the reluctance is likely to be the strongest.
Differences are already being heard as to the strategy to be followed vis-à-vis the government.
Jean-François Copé, for example, solemnly called for the conclusion of a government pact with the presidential majority.
Conversely, the current party president Christian Jacob said after the announcement of the results that the LR would indeed remain an opposition force.
