One person was killed and two others were wounded in the shelling of the Chorno-Gvardeysky district in the city of Makevka, on the outskirts of Donetsk, by the Ukrainian forces.
The RT website quoted the Donetsk People's Republic Regional Defense Headquarters as saying in a statement: "Ukrainian forces targeted Sadovaya and Bolivia streets in the city of Makevka, killing one person and wounding two others, in addition to destroying a number of residential buildings and burning a number of civilian cars." Significant damage was caused to a gas pipeline in the city.
