Penzberg – In the nationwide “City Cycling” campaign, Penzberg will once again be pedaling for climate protection this year.
The city of Penzberg will be there from June 25th to July 15th.
According to the town hall, everyone who lives, works, belongs to a club or attends school in Penzberg can take part in the Climate Alliance campaign during this period.
The aim is to collect as many kilometers by bike as possible.
The competition is not only about fun and health, but above all about getting as many people as possible to switch to cycling in everyday life.
During the campaign, the city again offers all citizens the reporting platform RADar!
on.
With this tool, participants can use the Internet or the Stadtradeln app to draw the management's attention to disruptive and dangerous spots along the cycle path.
This year, the city administration has two kick-off events in the program.
The following bike tours are planned: Next Saturday, June 25th, it's "Rund um Penzberg".
Meeting point is at 10 a.m. at the Penzberg train station.
