Pure joie de vivre around every corner

The idyllic Hirschlergarten in the middle of the village offered an atmospheric ambience, where people danced to the South American sounds of "Los Latinos".

The municipality of Tauting has around 300 inhabitants.
A dreamy little village.
But on Saturday it turned into a grandiose music stage.
A veritable stream of visitors flooded the village at the "sound light".

– When you turned off the B 2 into the road to Tauting, a wide variety of music was already wafting through the lowered car windows.
The temperature that evening was still 30 degrees at 7 p.m., perfect for this special Bavarian music festival, which was taking place for the third time in Tauting, a district of Eglfinger.
All musicians have a connection to the village
Everything was programmed for a relaxed atmosphere, you could feel that immediately when you walked from the meadow parking lot in the direction of the village street, climbed over a pasture fence and came out at the Bayerhof.
Josef Bayer, owner of the farm, was one of the organizers of the “Klangleichtn”.
Organized by the municipality of Eglfing, numerous clubs, artists, the whole village community with many helpers had put this event on its feet.
"It takes three days to set everything up," says Bayer.
For example, it took a lot of time to mask off the many street lamps in order to get the right atmosphere for the "Torchlight Concerts" and the "Torch Relay for Peace".
At ten places across Tauting, music was played, from brass bands to rock.

But there was also a lot to do beforehand.
The Tautingen musician couple Sabine Gruber-Heberlein and Thomas Gruber (including the world music trio "gruberich") is well connected in artistic circles and had brought around 35 music groups on board for this festival.
Over 200 participants, all from the municipality of Eglfing or with a close connection to the place, performed.
Whether soft harp sounds, rock or brass band music, Bavarian orphans or dance music from distant countries, a fascinating range of sounds was offered, and at some bizarre locations.
The physical well-being was also well taken care of, young and old enjoyed it on the village street.

Of course there was music in the tiny church of St. Benedict.
You could hear music at the carpentry, at a canapé barn, where appropriate seating invited to linger.
In front of the Toteissilo, a sawn-off silo that served as a stage, there was seating on improvised, comfortable wooden benches.
The “crocodile pond” was a cozy and romantic backdrop to the concert, and in the Hirschlergarten, people danced to South American sounds, among other things.
The mood was noticeably good, contagious.
Everything was easy, beautiful sounds could be heard everywhere.
And late in the evening, Tauting shone in every respect.
