Siren in Miesbach: police and fire brigade move out

At around 2 p.m. the sirens wailed in Miesbach: emergency services were called to the Waldeckersteig.
A gas line was damaged during construction work.
Miesbach –
After the siren, which alerted emergency services around 2 p.m., the fire brigade and police gathered at a house on the Waldeckersteig in Miesbach.
As the Miesbach Police Inspectorate reported when asked, an excavator driver had caught a “small gas line” at a construction site there.

"There was a minimal gas leak," confirms a police spokesman.
However, the gas was shut off immediately.
"There was no danger." The operation was over by 2:20 p.m.
