The National Center for Excellence won third place in the IMMC International Competition for Mathematical Modeling of Teams, organized by Singapore “remotely” last April, with the participation of 58 teams representing 31 countries from around the world.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated, in a statement that SANA received a copy of today, that two teams from the National Center for the Distinguished, each of which included four students, participated in the competition and were able to achieve the third place and obtain a certificate of appreciation, indicating that the first team included students: Razeen Shabib, Laith Al Sheikh, Mudar Ibrahim and Haider Salama, while it included The second team includes students Salman Aji, Alaa Hussein, Zain Al-Abidin Mansour and Amr Al-Khatib.

The authority noted the competition’s role in enhancing the capabilities of scientifically aspiring generations, as it is the art of translating the behavior of a system through the mathematical language through the use of mathematical modeling in addressing real-life problems, whether in mathematics or in other sciences, by transforming it into a mathematical problem that can be treated mathematically, dealing with and solving it. Choosing the best solution to the problem at hand.

It is noteworthy that this is the second participation of the National Center for Excellence in this global competition.
