Two rooms, two atmospheres.
After the heat wave of the past few days, the south-west of France has been hit by violent storms and hailstorms.
The Pyrénées-Atlantiques, the Gironde, the Landes, the Charente and the Charente-Maritime, which were placed on orange vigilance in the storms, were thus affected.

Bordeaux, Lacanau, Hourtin… The images of Internet users posted on the networks testify to the violence of the storm, with hailstones of several centimeters which fell on the Gironde, while Béarn and the Médoc also witnessed a strong hailstorm.

Shattered windshields
Gusts of more than 100 km / h were also observed on the Cap Ferret side.
No report has yet been communicated, but images posted on social networks illustrate the stormy episode, with broken car windshields in particular.

After the heat wave, violent thunderstorms and heavy hailstorms had already affected other regions overnight from Sunday to Monday.
The Paris Basin, the Yonne, the Ardennes and even the Indre were thus concerned.
