While walking: Two walkers with a dog were struck by lightning – another dog is still missing

When they were walking their dogs, two people in the Upper Palatinate were struck by lightning.
A helicopter took the injured to a clinic.
Bad Kötzing – A walk ended in the hospital for a man and a woman from the Cham district.
While the two were walking their dogs, they were struck by lightning.
The two sustained moderate injuries, police said.
One of the dogs was also injured.
The other ran away and is currently listed as missing.
Two walkers struck by lightning in Bavaria – a Labrador is still missing
The 42-year-old man and his 55-year-old companion were traveling with a spanned umbrella in Bad Kötzting on Monday, the police said.
After being struck by lightning, they called 911 from the wooded area.
The mountain rescue service and the rescue service rescued the two Bavarians.
"They were then flown to clinics with two rescue helicopters," the police said.
The injured dog was handed over to relatives.
The second dog is still missing.
It is a beige Labrador that may also have been injured.
