The expectations were exceeded: "4 days - 4 bands": About 3000 visitors came to the open-air concerts in the Tölzer Bürgergarten.

Bad Tölz

- Fantastic summer weather, good music, an unbelievable view of the mountains and a great atmosphere made for an all-round successful open-air festival "4 days - 4 bands" in the Tölzer Bürgergarten.

"Very good", says Susanne Frey-Allgaier, deputy spa director and organizer, completely satisfied.

"Our expectations were exceeded."

According to Frey-Allgaier, an estimated 3,000 people were there on the four evenings, "mostly locals and many repeat offenders" - in other words, quite a few who didn't want to miss several of the concerts.

"Many people noticed that they had rediscovered the Bürgergarten." Many older people from Tölzer felt reminded of the past when there was a beer garden in the Bürgergarten.

Since its redesign, there hadn't been a chance to officially "put it into service".

Now there is also a better infrastructure to be supplied with water and electricity at events.

"It's nice that the city agreed to this and saw that it was worth using the Bürgergarten."

Saturday with the performance of "CubaBoarisch 2.0." was the strongest day

The strongest day was Saturday, when the band "CubaBoarisch 2.0" performed.

"We've almost reached the edge of our possibilities." But everything would have worked out perfectly.

At "CubaBoarisch 2.0" on Saturday evening "we almost reached the edge of our possibilities," says Susanne Frey-Allgaier from TI.

The cooperation with the clubs - SC Rot Weiß Bad Tölz, SV Bad Tölz and the Tölzer Capricorns - who took over the catering, worked very well.

"Even the clubs hadn't expected this number of visitors." Nevertheless, they had coped with the onslaught with a lot of heart and soul.

“Not every club worked for itself.

Everything was tackled together, everyone for the other and with great commitment.

That was really a great performance,” said Frey-Allgaier.

Reissue?

"Is conceivable"

The bands - in addition to "CubaBoarisch 2.0", also "Lenze & de Buam", the "Reiwas" and the band "so& so" performed - were very impressed by the venue.

Then nothing should stand in the way of a repeat?

It was a first test balloon.

A new edition is "conceivable after it went so well," says Frey-Allgaier.

She had been asked about it by many.

"But it's not my decision alone." After all, according to her, there were no complaints from neighbors regarding the volume - which is not a matter of course at an event in the middle of the city.

"If possible, we always work with a well-known technology company that always checks the decibel numbers."

With the free admission to the concerts - as well as numerous other events in the city area such as the upcoming forest games on Blomberg - one wants to ensure that all citizens have access to culture.

"We see that as our basic task." In Bad Tölz there is a broad cultural scene, many very good local artists.

"We want to address every target group with our events."
