The Hakaya Art Collective performed this evening a concert on the stage of the Palace of Culture in As-Suwayda City.
The start of the celebrations for the World Music Day, organized by the National Theater in Sweida and the Directorate of Theaters and Music, over a period of six days.
The ceremony included the presentation of three songs under the titles “Your Head, Home, Land of Freedom, and the Girl Has Mert,” in addition to a bouquet of authentic Tarab songs, under the supervision of Loujain Al-Hadi, singing by William Al-Hamoud and Hadeel Al-Hussein, playing by Tammam Jazan, Farah Al-Hussein, Fadi Shway, Majd Gharz El-Din, Hassan Zein El-Din and Iyas Shehayeb. .
The director of the National Theater in As-Suwayda, theatrical director, Rifaat Al-Hadi, pointed out in his speech that the celebration that As-Suwayda is witnessing for the first time represents an artistic demonstration and an invitation to joy, singing and enjoying music, noting the role of music in expressing what words cannot and the inner workings of the human spirit.
A member of the celebration's organizing committee, Jane Al-Hadi, told SANA reporter that six bands will participate in the celebration, which will continue until the 26th of this month.
Ceremony A winning song is chosen by a jury composed of musicians and artists, Moeen Nafaa, Fouad Abu Hamdan, Ayman Al Baroki, Samir Nour El Din, Amjad Al Barouki, Louay Imad and Rayan Jarira.
It is noteworthy that the bands participating in the celebration, in addition to the Hakaya Art Gathering, are "Shams, Dream, Friends, Lovers of Tarab and Sheraa".
