At about 7 pm on June 21, a fire broke out at a CLP cable bridge near No. 8, Kwong Yip Street, Yuen Long, near No. 8 Long Ping.
The fire department dispatched two smoke-cap teams and used two hoses to spray water for rescue. The sound of burning "popping" could be heard from time to time at the scene, and some bridges collapsed later, forming a "V" shape, and firefighters continued to shoot water.
No one was injured and no evacuation was required.
Affected by the fire, some areas in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai suffered power outages.
