Beijing-Sana

China has renewed its rejection of US interference in its internal affairs, denouncing Washington's attempts to tarnish its reputation internationally.

"China condemns and firmly opposes the so-called law to prevent forced labor in Xinjiang, which was drafted by the United States," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a press conference today, Xinhua reported. The interests of the people of China are duly guaranteed.”

"Based on US allegations, the Forced Labor Prevention Act and US sanctions on relevant entities and individuals in Xinjiang represent an escalation of the United States' repression of China under the guise of human rights and prove that the United States is deliberately undermining the global economy," Wang added. However, the United States seeks to create forced unemployment in Xinjiang and exposes Washington’s hegemonic nature, its violation of human rights and its violation of international laws in the name of preserving them.”

On the other hand, Wang commented on the increasing incidents of violence and shootings in the United States by saying: “American politicians only repeat hollow words to calm or organize some mourning events until the next fatal incident,” wondering whether “American politicians care more about human rights or hegemony when They are indifferent to the death of their own people, but they are busy interfering in the affairs of other countries.”

Wang pointed to the failure of the US government to enact a draft law on arms control, calling on it to "protect its people from gun violence, as any government that protects human rights should do."
