The Chinese newspaper "Global Times" saw that the recent statements of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about the continuation of the war in Ukraine for many years revealed the alliance's endeavor to turn the territory of this country into its bases against Russia.

And the newspaper said in its comment today on the interview that Stoltenberg gave to the German newspaper "Bild", in which he showed his intervention to supply Ukraine with weapons: It is not out of love for it, but rather in the interests of the alliance aimed at turning Ukrainian lands into NATO bases against Russia.

The Chinese newspaper added that Stoltenberg's demands from the West to continue supplying the regime forces in Kyiv with weapons and not to stop doing so despite the high costs confirms the alliance's desire to continue this crisis, even though many members of the alliance who previously supported Kyiv are feeling tired, disappointed and tired of Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg, in his statements to the German newspaper, which was published last Saturday, urged the members of the alliance to provide more weapons to Ukraine.

And Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Russia 1 channel earlier: The debate over additional supplies of Western weapons to Ukraine has only one goal, which is to prolong the armed conflict there as much as possible.
