Three people were killed Monday inside a church in the town of Cerocahui, in the state of Chihuahua, in northern Mexico.
Two of the victims were Jesuit priests.
Through a statement, the state government confirmed that the priests were killed around 6 in the afternoon, local time, along with another person who sought refuge from the aggression inside the temple, to where the attacker followed him.
After what happened, an operation was activated in coordination with the National Guard and the Secretary of Defense to safeguard the inhabitants of the place, the authorities reported.
