Corona measures in autumn: Union makes ten demands on the traffic light government

In Berlin, the Corona measures will be discussed next autumn.
After the FDP had already criticized the mask requirement, the Union is now making demands.
Berlin – The federal government is discussing future corona measures.
SPD Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has already announced a seven-point plan for the fall.
In the traffic light coalition, there are apparently discussions about introducing a mask requirement “from O to O” – from October to Easter.
The FDP, on the other hand, is still reluctant and does not want to take any action before the expert council publishes its report.
Corona paper: Union makes demands on the traffic light
The Union is also currently dealing with the scenario of increasing corona numbers from autumn.
The health politicians of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group have now worked out a strategy for this at a two-day conference.

It lists a total of ten “Demands on the Federal Government”.
Pandemic
management concept: Should be developed taking into account the Corona Expert Council and also allow measures after September 23, 2022.
The currently reduced corona measures will expire on this date.
Antibody study
: "Other countries can access the results of representative antibody studies," says the resolution.
This could mean Great Britain, for example, where corresponding scientific work has already been published.
Vaccination campaign: The vaccination
campaign is to be realigned "in the course of the data obtained from the antibody study".
Vaccination register
: The Union had requested it several times, but had not yet decided.
It must be "legally secure, data protection compliant and unbureaucratic".
However, this is exactly why the plan has failed so far.
Health service
: Should focus on prevention and care "with better focus on vulnerable groups" and not be concerned with contact tracing.
Test strategy
: Needs to be revised.
The Union calls for the “abolition of the billion-dollar, unprovoked tests” and “measures to increase the quality of the tests and reduce the susceptibility to abuse”.
Millions of euros fraud by private test stations has already become public several times.
Evaluation of facility
-related vaccination requirements: The care vaccination requirement must be evaluated for the effective period of September 30th.
Proof of two individual vaccinations is sufficient by September 30th.
Positioning facility
-related vaccination requirement: The traffic light must take a position on whether the care vaccination requirement will continue beyond December 31st.
CDU/CSU write about the "creation of alternative instruments" and name hygiene concepts or "seasonal vaccination concepts".
Long Covid & Vaccination side effects
: There is a need for therapy and treatment options for corresponding patients “as well as the further expansion of the corresponding research”.
