Hundreds of thousands of passengers pass through Ben Gurion Airport every week and many of them arrive during busy hours and have to stand in line for hours.
Although the problem exists at many airports around the world, as is well known, the situation at Ben Gurion Airport causes quite a few Israelis and tourists to stand in very long queues.
A check with the VIP companies that offer queue shortening services for a fee, shows that it is almost impossible to get the service for the summer months of July-August.
Laufer explicitly says that it is not possible to get more appointments for July and August and if you try to get EuroHandling or QAS, you will probably have to wait a very long time on the line and not sure you will get an answer, the companies are dealing with very unusual loads.
In conversations with company employees, they say things similar to those announced by Laufer - the chances of getting the queue shortening services in the next two and a half months are slim to impossible, everything is full and there are many more who are interested in the services and are unable to get them.

Aviad Roden, an agent who handles VIP services and works with all companies, tells "Israel Today": "Since March, there has been a huge pressure on passengers who want to fly. "Everyone hears in the media about the long queues and the many waiting times at Ben Gurion Airport, so many want to help themselves and purchase VIP services in order to shorten the waiting times before boarding the plane.
An interesting fact is that now the price is not a factor and the public wants to purchase a service in almost any situation and at any price.
"As far as VIP companies are concerned, there are two main" bottlenecks ": A. Objective - it is not possible to answer all applicants by phone or email. B. There is a limited number of service days that do not meet the scope of demand. The VIP has another 20 employees per company, all of whom were full of work. The employees are now required to work hard at all hours of the day and night. At ELITE VIP it is very important to give VIP solutions to our regular customers, to continue to maintain the level of service and high availability to our customers even if it is at the expense of absorbing many new customers who are willing to pay any price for service, which I can say now I can not help "Something I've never said before."
