Fête de la musique 2022: the program near you

Today Tuesday, June 21, it's Music Day! Free concerts, choirs, parties, festive events all over France...


The Music Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary today!

A great popular success that has spread throughout the world for its friendly, festive and unifying spirit.

Take advantage of the atmosphere by joining one of the events near you...

After two years of Covid and restrictions, we're reconnecting the sound without masks or gauges!

And there will be many groups and musicians at the rendezvous, determined to take their revenge on the bad memories of the confinements: more than a thousand concerts are announced in the official program but many more will be improvised.

Here is a small selection throughout France of free concerts not to be missed with, for example, well-known headliners such as Amir, Benabar, The Avener... but also more local events that will surely make you discover other talents!

Rock, electro, classical, soul... there's something for everyone

In Marseille (13), the Borély beach

will host an electro scene “Fun Radio / freestyle Cup” with Lucas & Steve, Topic, LUM!X, The Avener and Europa (Jax Jones and Martin Solveig).

From 7 p.m. to midnight.

In Montpellier (34), on the Esplanade de l'Europe.

The city organizes with France Télévisions three hours of concerts which will also be broadcast on France 2. Medleys, exceptional duets and of course the hits of the moment and the talents of tomorrow such as: Marc Lavoine, Nolwenn Leroy, Claudio Capéo, Dadju , Christophe Willem, Pierre De Maere, Zaz, Hoshi...

From 9 p.m. to midnight.

In Paris (75), at the Center Pompidou (IVe).

Final of the “Première Seine” operation, the Rock en Seine high school springboard.

The winner will have the opportunity to perform at the Hauts-de-Seine festival, on Seguin Island, next August.

In competition: Live Wire, Gehen, Mitty & Simon.

Also on the program, Gwendoline and Bryan's Magic Tears.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In Chelles (77).

The "Soulman" Ben l'Oncle Soul, will make the Chellois dance in the Parc du Souvenir.

From 9 p.m.

In Clichy-la-Garenne (92)

The mythical group SUPERBUS and the artist LUTT invite you to Clichy on June 21, on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, for an exceptional concert!

In Aix-en-Provence (13).

The cream of regional groups will be on stage at the top of the Cours Mirabeau with the final of the Tremplin Class'Eurock.

In La Rochelle (17)

in the Church of Notre-Dame.

Grand concert of several choirs together, string orchestra and percussion.

Free concert with a basket in favor of Ukraine.

At 9 pm.

In Vitre (35).

The Maison des Cultures du Monde celebrates music with two open-air concerts: the Tuva overtone singing by Batsükh Dorj will be followed by geomungo by Korean artist E'Joung-ju and his ensemble KEDA.

In Strasbourg (67)
