Group from the district of Dachau signs contracts in Burkina Faso

For the second time, a group from the district of Dachau has set out for Burkina Faso.

“Among other things, we will be signing the contracts for the construction of the planned school building in Kokologho on site during this time. 

We will also meet Mr. Daprou Kambou, who will oversee the project on site with his association, Association El-Shama-Educare', which is experienced in school construction," explained the Dachau district master craftswoman Irmgard Hetzinger-Heinrici, managing director of the association "Perspectives for Burkina Faso" and Head of the Dachau delegation in a press release.

The "Weitblick" association, headed by Carlos Benede, is also well represented in this travel group.

“As usual with 'Perspectives for Burkina Faso', the focus here is on vocational training.

Of course, it is also about getting to know the local people and the African culture.

We are really looking forward to these impressions," Benede emphasized on departure.

The first trip by a group from the district of Dachau to the West African country took place in March 2019.

At the time, the group around Bernhard Seidenath, a member of the Dachau state parliament, was visiting Jeanette Huber from Schwabhausen, who was living and working for the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Burkina Faso at the time.

As a result of this trip, the association "Perspectives for Burkina Faso" was founded, which - with the help to help themselves - would like to give the local people perspectives.

With twelve participants, the current tour group is not only three people larger than the first, they will also be staying three days longer.
