"Rumms, something new is coming": A Geretsrieder repeatedly ends up in court after consuming alcohol.
Now there was arrest for damage to property.
Geretsried – The arguments with his parents were stress enough for the young boy.
The fact that his friend started an argument after a few beers made "the camel's back", as the Geretsrieder (20) explained in court.
There he had to answer for damage to property because he vented his frustration on a parked car on September 17 last year: The removal of the dent that his punch had left in the hood cost him around 950 euros - and four days of short-term arrest.
"I committed the crime," said the accused sheepishly and added ashamed: "I'm very embarrassed that I'm sitting here again." The Geretsrieder has been a regular at the juvenile court since 2018.
Since then he has already accumulated four previous convictions – for the purchase of narcotics, willful bodily harm and driving without a license, attempted evasion of criminal prosecution and damage to property, for which he has already had to serve two free time youth detentions.

"Drinking runs like a red thread through his biography," explained youth court clerk Andreas Dlugosch, who recommended to the accused: "It's over with alcohol now." His earlier encounters with Geretsrieder all followed the same pattern.
"A criminal offense occurs, he makes a good impression in court, shows willingness to implement the measures imposed - and bang, something new happens." The way to ruin, the many fines, court costs, compensation for damages, etc. all add up - and all because you can't tolerate the alcohol." That's why the juvenile court clerk's proposal for punishment was: four days of short-term arrest and a ban on alcohol consumption for one year.

Juvenile court judge Friederike Kirschstein-Freund followed the suggestion and ordered four days of arrest as a "shot across the bow".
The judge welcomed the fact that he was dealing with his alcohol problem and was considering undergoing therapy, but refused to classify alcohol-related disinhibition as a mitigating sentence.
Because: "You know that you commit crimes if you have drunk alcohol." rst
